Electromagnetic induction can do crazy things..

smart man. im a network tech and this is a common issue. each wire has an electro magnetic field (emf) that surrounds the outer coating sort of like a bubble. when you have wires too close the emf's can interfere with the signal, in networking youd get a laggy connection and inconsistent data transfer. in a car it will affect the spark possibly causing misfiring.

Would it click when you turned over the key? and it takes a couple tries for the starter to engage? Because this is happening to my car. Sometimes it clicks and other times it starts up on the first try..

I've been trying to finish my 5 lug swap and have everything but the rotors I have are too big and the 350z calipers dont line up with the knuckles. What did you do to covert your rears? Did you keep the stock calipers and bought a 5 lug rotor or re drilled them?
