Backstory: 92 (SE?) Auto, Respray a few years old, 137k, everything works, needed minor maintainence (also ran like crap but story below), unmolested car.

Got it for $2500 :)

Guy brought it to my dealership for an oil change. He had it storage for the past year and had pulled it out for his 16 year old daughter to drive. Come to find out its his wifes car. She bought it new in 1992 for just under $25k (have original paper work, looking for original window sticker) at Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, Texas (i think going from memory). She drove it as a daily for like 10 years and its just been in the family the rest. Mostly garaged spent 1-2 years outside and killed the dash :frown: . With his daughter driving it it started having driveability problems. He took it to his friend (an Xmechanic) spent over $400 to put 2 injectors in it and new plugs on 2 seperate occasions and it still ran like crap. He was gonna hold on to it till he could get his daughter something else and then sell it to me but didnt wanna spend any more on it so he went ahead and sold it to me. I pull it in to my shop and after about an hour find the #3 injector (one of the new ones he had put in) had the lower o ring broke in half dumping fuel into #3 cylinder. Stuck and new one on it and it runs great :) Not sure what im gonna do to it yet but it will be my daily driver just wanted to share my excitement

Ha forgot to mention that! The wife said when it was a few years old her dog chewed it up and she had the dealer put on a new one. Guess they did a good job cuz its rust free. I pulled down the hatch trim and checked it before i bought it. The car is rust free. :dblthumb: I had it on a lift in my shop and checked it all over when they had it in for oil change.

Its about a 5 foot paint job. You can see where it had decay on the front bumper and they didnt smooth it out completely. Also the tape job around the windows was slacking especially the sunroof (when you open it up there is a good sized ridge) but overall its perferct for me :) Possibly 3 total door dings nothing major. Seems like a useless thread but ive been searching for one like this for over a year so im pretty stoked!

well im a mechanic not a body man so good body/bad motor is perferct for me and i had a good feeling on this one thats why i waited 2 months for it and it turned out great. every other 240 in my area for 2500 was either crap or it sold before i could get to it......
