I just bought this 1968 Datsun and am looking forward to using it as my dd. It's in excellent mechanical condition-- I just need to register it and put some gas in it and I'll be driving. I have some "plans" in the back of my mind, but have to give it some time as my wife laid down the law that I wasn't allowed to cut this thing up like I do everything else I get my hands on. I've already got a "project vehicle" in the garage that I'm supposed to do my hacking on (last pic). When the time comes... I'm thinking a sturdy KA24 or SR20 motor with a big turbo on it, and 5 speed. We'll see.

Dude, that thing is CLEAN! Congrats on that find. Doesn't have rust in the usual places, so that looks like it'll be a fun little truck that'll be easy to maintain.
