Hi there im new to the site and the 240 life i have a clean fully stock 95 s14 and i havent decided what kind of build i want for my baby i am still in school so my income is really tight so cheap but effective is what im goin for any ideas, tips, or tricks would be greatly appreatiated

Well, your vague and contradictory post / question is kinda hard to answer. Think about it. You don't know what kind of build you want to do, but somehow we're supposed to give you tips on how to build it. Build what? You yourself don't even know what you're going for. So being that WE don't know what you want to build, and YOU don't even know what you want to build, we can hardly tell you how to go about building it at all, let alone cheaply or effectively. Or cheaply AND effectively for that matter, which btw those 2 don't usually go together.

Frankly, you sound like a kid in highschool who thinks building a car is as simple as "buy 240, install some cheap performance parts, drift like takumi". It sounds like you want us to spell out for you the ABC's of "how does I build race car". And ain't nobody got time fo dat.

So, maybe, actually decide what you want to do with the car first. Daily driver? Street car? Show car? Track car? Drifter? Drag car? Rally? Once you fiure out where you want to go, THEN maybe we could help you figure out how to get there. OR, you know, GO READ THINGS. We have all of these lovely topics that already have heaps of 240 builds that you can pirate ideas from

If you're on a tight budget, just save your money. You won't see much difference between stock and modified without spending significant amounts of money.
