Looks like Infiniti is now offering the QX56 with the 22" Wheel package with out the Body Roll Pkg.

Infiniti today announced the addition of a new Tire & Wheel Package for the popular 2011 Infiniti QX56. Available immediately on both two-wheel and four-wheel drive models, the new package includes 22-inch 9-spoke forged aluminum-alloy wheels and P275/50R22 H-rated all-season performance tires. The price for the Tire & Wheel Package is $2,300 USD. The Infiniti QX has achieved record sales each month since its launch last summer.

The large wheels are the primary indicator of a "loaded" QX. The Deluxe Touring package includes the Body Motion Control system that in my opinion is worth more than those wheels. This truck is not the same without that package.

22 x 8.0-inch, 9-spoke forged aluminum-alloy wheels with 275/50R22 H-rated all-season tires
Hydraulic Body Motion Control system
Climate-controlled front seats
Heated second-row seats (outboard only)
Remote tip-up second-row seats for easy third-row entry/exit
Semi-aniline leather seating
Mocha Burl trim
Second-row footwell courtesy lights
Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with auto recirculation, Plasmacluster™ air purifier and Grape Polyphenol Filter
Headlight washers (4WD only)

Requires Theater Package.

I totally agree, it is an amazing system. But if I am lucky enough to ever let my wife drop $70k on an SUV, I would totally get it. However, if I could spend $55-$60, I would still want the 22" shoes on the ride, so it is nice that it is a separate option.

With that being said, my wife says I WILL love my 2010 Armada Platinum for several more years!!!!! LOL

Well, the tire and wheel package from the dealer is in excess of $8000 currently for the setup on the truck.

It will take some serious luck on CL or Ebay to score a set.

I wish I were in any point close to the target market for that truck, but the median income for that class of vehicle is >$250k.

Actually, $8000 for that package is not bad when you experience the Body Motion Control System, there is simply nothing else like it on the market, and it is a great feature.

Some can certainly argue that $2,300 is expensive for the tire and wheel package, but it depends what you like.

The wheels sold separately are what costs about 8 grand.

Here is a quick comparison

The hydraulic stabilizer is a game changing feature in the full size truck market. I know in my area we have sold a few to car services they all are amazed by the drive. It is something to check out if you have the ability to.

Oh and I think the QX has 80 or so more horses than the GL550.
