:welcome: to NICO and congratulations on your purchase!

As far as pictures, you'll need to post them someplace - I use google's picasaweb - and then put the address inside image tags like these {img}yourpicture'saddress{/img} except the "{ }" symbols are brackets like this "[ ]" instead.

Thanks, Q451990!!! I'll do.
And now, I have a question. How do I check the oil level in AT? Where is the probe located? And another one question to lino: Can you send the parts from your ebay-store to Russia? If i need them...

I made two trips to Moscow and saw lots of FX35 and FX45's and also a few M45's there. You guys like your gas guzzlers more then we do in the USA.

You'll enjoy the car and the rarity of the 3rd gen Q is also here in the US, hardly any of them on the road.

I hope i will enjoy my car, if it does not break :)

Do you like Moscow? I live far away from Moscow, in Caucasus. And we really do like gas guzzlers :))) But most of all we love the power! Horse power :))))

Welcome to NICO.

The transmission oil filler is capped. But you can order the oil dipstick kit.

Good luck.

A lot of people buy parts from I.O.S. (Infiniti of Scottsdale) because they are a sponsor here and have excellent prices.

This is their website:
http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/partloc ... &siteid=55

Is your car a US car? For the US cars the part number is:
31086-CR900

If you put the part umber on the I.O.S. website you will see the price is: $12.18

If you look at the Russian Parts Catalog for the Nissan President the part number is:
31086-AR001

Here is the illustaration:

Sorry dropped off the thread this weekend. I liked Moscow, I actually almost took a job there, but I ended up not going. It is a fun place to visit but not sure if I would want to live there. I liked St. Petersburg much more to visit, I don't know if ever need to return to Moscow but I will go back to St. Petersburg for sure.

Infiniti is pretty well represented there in Moscow, hopefully you'll see some others on the road.

Very clean!!! That car will be a rare one, while Infiniti called it the "no excuses" Q45 it ended up being the lowest selling one of all generations. But it is a beauty!!

You have a beautiful car. But check the oil regularly as some F50 cars, 02Q in particular, have higher than normal oil consumption. If you do,you may have to switch to a 'thicker' oil like a 40 weight.

I have an 03Q and never have had consumption issue at 4-months/4,000 miles OCI (Oil Change Interval). When the UoA (Used Oil Analysis) came out OK, I extended it to 6-month/6,000 miles, but in between OCI, I have to add @ 3/4 quart or less. I will switch to 40 weight in my next oil change.

Thanks for the advice! I filled the 40w-30 Castrol oil and after 4000 miles I had to pour the 2 liters. Is this normal?

That's an odd oil weight... do you mean 10W-30? Sadly, that's pretty typical oil consumption for your engine. In the future I would top it off at one liter low rather than waiting for it to get that low. Switching to a full synthetic might help...

Ok... well, the best you can do is keep it topped off. These engines were built loose to cut down on friction and milk the absolute most horsepower out of them - with the undesirable side effect of oil consumption.

Try some 10-40w oil.
