Should i keep and start a new trend or sell and fall into one that has already been successful? Also this is my first time posting a pic so if you dont see it or the pic is screwed up please let me know. Comments are welcome.

The pattern is cool, however you cannot fit many ho's in a 240

Well i was thinking about slamming it and getting some overfenders with some spacers but i think it would be cheaper to sell them and get some inexpensive sportmaxxes

First of all, they're wheels, not rims. They look ridiculous. But if you like them, keep them. It's your car. From that photo none of us can tell what kind of offset you're running, but if they're motegi's it can't be pretty. Sportmaxx's would be better than that, you're not going to start a new twinkie-on-240 trend.

Also, does that look shopped to anyone else?

I know it does look kinda photoshopped but its legit. When i got the car the "wheels" came with it and i have been debating whether or not i should keep them or get rid of them. Judging by everyones response im leaning towards selling if there is a buyer. The offset is 35 in front and 30 in the back or maybe the other way around. Anyways what does "twinkie on a 240"trend supposed to mean?

If you like them, get some 25mm spacers and make em work. You'll probably have to do a wire tuck and a nice fender pull if you want to tuck them on coils. Twinkie=large vip style wheels. And they don't work on s13's unless you have some major aero, paint, and body work. Your car would look better with some sportmaxx's with a reasonable offset IMO. Clean hatch from what I can tell btw.

I want some sportmaxxes but i is kinda broke right now so i was hoping to use the money from selling these to go towards the new rims but there isnt a demand in savannah for four lug twenties . Anyways thanks for the input as well as the comment,it isnt as clean as the pic portrays. I bought it two months ago for 1500! Can you believe that? Dont know why he sold it so cheap, there was a weird knock in the engine but came to find out it was the guides, took those puppies out and the knock vanished.Interior is pretty clean as well aside from the missing radio and my failed attempt at reupolstering my door panels. It also had a nice front end collsion judging by the hood adjusters and crapped up bumper exstensions. But nothing that cant be fixed.

Sounds like a solid platform, just keep saving, you'll get there.

I think you should go do to a smaller size, but keep the flat face look. 18's at max, yo.

I'm thinking go with some flat faced, high offset, WIDE wheels. Like maybe something like 17x9.5+20 in the front and 18x11+40 in the back...

That would be interesting and would make more sense from a performance point of view...

18x11+40 will rub on the strut/coil. I test fit some newer mustang 17x8+50's and they rubbed. (newer gen)

8/2+4 in +50mm converted to inch 1.96 inches add that to you mid point +4 and the backspace on those were 5.96 inch and they just rubbed with a 255 tire

11/2 is 5.5 inch added +40mm aka 1.57inchs would be a backspace of 7.07 inches which is no way in hell

Tire size depending on a 17 with a really stretched tire you can do about 6inch of back space but if you want some meat keep it near 5.75 or 5.8 inches.

I was just throwing out some numbers as examples, but wait wait wait... You're saying 17x8+50 rubbed in the back? Something is wrong with that, if so. I can understand that in the front, but high offset with wide wheels in back is proven to work well.

For example, Broadfield's old 18x10+44 setup. Flat face, but wide. I think this is a trend that more ppl should catch on to instead of this tire stretchin', low offset stuff...

When i get the car back ill take some more pics, this one is pretty bad. My car is still at my schools autoshop, Had to fill up this baseball sized hole on the hatch as well as pull some dents. Anybody have some suggestions on coilovers as far as brands go?

Just type something simple, like 'which coilover' into the search bar. Read the opinions and make your choice...
