Motor should be finished in next 7-10 days; they had trouble getting a useable core. Do I need to break in the motor before having it tuned? I know tuning it requires high rpm's, which I think you're not supposed to do for at least 600 miles.

Can anyone recommend good mufflers? My exhaust is just too loud, almost sounds like straight pipes. I also don't like that tinny, or vibrating, sound at low rpm's.

If interested I have an 06 engine that didn't burn oil in my garage that had a tick on cylinder 8. Don't know what all you would need for the swap or build but if you plan on adding more power its larger displacement. Im not sure how much shipping is either from SoCal.

Engine swap has begun. Billet Design Motorsports is doing the work (check em out on fb).

First afternoon engine comes out. BTW, how many shops give you picture updates? This is awesome! :bigthumb:

About $1,800 for the swap. I'm also having them do HID 8000K low beams and fog lights, soften up the ride, lower it a little bit more and make the exhaust sound better. After break in, I'm bringing it back for an Uprev tune.
