Hey everyone first time one here, i normally build subies but i got myself a 93 nissan 240sx with some issues. So i put an sr20det stock blacktop in it and got it running great. Than my maf wire (power/black/white) dropped down and melted on my exhaust. so i soldered a circuit in my ecu and got it home. So i then rewired my maf wires got a new maf and ecu. Now my car runs like s***. So i than proceeded to buy a new engine harness thinking i may have shorted something out to the cas or something else as i know the maf wires run into the cas. And once again still runs like s***. Heres what i know.

I am getting spark, fuel, and air.The mechanical timing on the cas is spot on. The car is hard to start but once it does it idles fine. I can rev it while its not moving and everything seems good. Go for a drive and once its under driving load it s*** the bed and dumps way to much fuel.

I measured my voltage to my maf and here whats i got with just the key on with the maf unplugged.
pin a- black and white wire - 11.2v
pin C white signal wire - 6.3v!! thats just with the key on not even running
now i know i am supposed to be in the .9 to 1.6 range with the signal wire.

Can anyone shed some light on why the eff im getting 6.3v to my maf signal wire.
Thanks guys!

What MAF did you replace the old one with? Another SR MAF? And are you certain it was a good MAF?
