The windows on the 1994-1996 Q45's were said to be thicker than 1990-1993 Q45's. I wish I had a picture of the window regulator where the window is held into it but I don't. The service manual expects you to know and go from there.

this will help you get the door panel off... and FYI the door panel's arm rest may require some force sliding it back and up n out.

this will get you the window - but don't start removing the regulator, just the screws that hold the window in place (at the base of the window at the track of the regulator)

hope that makes sense and helps!

I think the window can come out and go in with just unscrewing the old window/ or parts of it from the clamp on the regulator that holds it. Then the new window should slide in from the outside of the door - I think, not positive.

Correct.. but... ugh... something makes no sense.. u know what im talking about tho right? U know how our windows have 2 wheels. The front wheel goes in its track.. but the back wheel on the glass wont. And yes u slide the window all the way in from outside. Go all the way down. And load the window in its (2) tracks from bottom... but my issue is the back wheel wont load.. grrr.. u can imagine my frustration.

Okay, now that i am back at my computer. hopefully what i say makes sense now. But yes, i have a 95 Q, and some d!ck tried to break in my car last night and decided to shatter/break my driver's side window. So i went and got one from a 92Q that i have all axx to. I took it out with no probs. A little still, but ah well.
Brought it to my 95, and took door panel apart easily, i can do that in my sleep. rolled window down about halfway or 3/4. Unscrewed my 2 screws and dumped the remaining glass. Removed the two roller wheels on each side and dumped them too. Took my 92 window and dropped it in all the way down, and attempted to start trying to load the 2 roller wheels. The one towards the front would load in , the one closer to rear would not. Sometimes while trying to load the one closer to rear, it would continuously hit the chrome trimming on the car. Makes no sense. Ive given up for the night. But I need someone to make some sense of my stress today. Changing a window should take 30 mins max. Why i cant get the piece in the hole is a mind buster to me.

Any luck? I'm guessing there's a difference between the 90-93 and 94-96 styles, and that's causing your problem...
