NEED HELP!!!! megan springs make lots of noise

so i just put megan springs on my versa this weekend and everytime i hit a bump i get a loud clunk noise i tightened all the bolts on the top and the one on the strut with the allen key wont go down anymore but theres still an inch of thread showing any suggetions ive tighend everything below as well again so im puzzeled

are you trying to turn the strut rod with the allen key? That is meant to hold the strut from spinning while you tighten the nut down to the correct torque.

Have you watched the tutorial on NissanVersaTech.com to make sure you are doing everything correctly?

yes and yes thats why im puzzeled everything checks out but idk what it is

When I first did my springs I had a clunk as well. The next day I took them off compressed the springs more and made sure they were as tight as they possibly could be.

nvm i fixed it i just bought an allen key that went on a ratchet and then put it on an impact gun and tightend it till it wouldnt go any more.... problem solved lol
