My son has a 2011 Infiniti G25. He went off to college and can't recall where he put the key fob to the car.

It is somewhere in the house, but I haven't been able to find it after 3 months of searching. I need to move his car in the driveway and also to recharge the battery (as it is dead).

Hate to spend $300+ dollars at the dealership to get new Fobs made. Please help if you know any way to bypass the immobilizer. I do have a copy of the metal key to get in the door. But, can't even put the car in neutral right now.

Also, is there any way to detect the Fob using a purchased detector ?

PLEASE HELP.

Desperate Dad

Some locksmith's and also Batteries+Bulbs stores can probably do them for cheaper than an Infiniti dealer.

No such key fob detectors exist, unfortunately.

That's what I suspected.

Thanks.
