This may be a stupid question, but I just don't get it. When I first start my car up and drive, the engine feels very healthy and strong, but after a couple minutes it feels much slower. Nothing seems wrong, no stumbles or hesitation, but I just don't get why it is so much slower once the engine is warm. Any ideas why? The car is a 96 na 5 speed. Thanks for any help!

I have not, this coming Friday il have my car in a shop installing my coils and its a 96, so I check for codes and see what comes up. I just decided to investigate this so nothing has been looked over yet.

Oooh it's a 96, I was going by your sig that says 1990. Yeah just plug it in then and see what comes up. The 96's lack the VTC that all pre-96 have so it isn't a problem with that. Whatever it is sounds like it only happens when something gets hot, like a bad sensor.

Yeah sorry that's my other one I guess I never updated my sig. But yeah makes sense il see if there's a bad sensor anywhere and go from there. Appreciate it

Either a sensor or a vacuum leak. My money would be on CTS or Fuel temp sensor.

Of course, there's about 6 billion sensors on the 96 that I don't know about.
