Yes I remember you now! Yes it's Andre. Wow man you have a damn good memory; i forgot yours lol. Do you know any of the Sasky guys? We prolly know a lot of the same people.

Anyway,

I should be in bed but I just finished this mother up and I'm excited to show it. What a battle it was getting everything to fit. I was blowing through all over the place cuz of my s*** gaps, rushing to get this thing done tonight to have it at the coaters tomorrow. Some welds were ok, some were haggard as hell.

There's the first leg.

And the second. I'm a little worried about the first leg having some turbulence. I better not see any creep lol. Using the flex sections was a HUGE life saver.

The manifold, hotside and downpipe is off to the coaters tomorrow!

will really clean up the welds before coating, leaves you with what appears to be a solid pipe.
only recently found out about these at work, go figure.
nice job otherwise, im sure it was a bear to fit it all!

Back from ceramic coating last week.

Inside view of the WG dump merges. I think I did a pretty damn good job! Haha.

Another turbine housing comparison between the old .59 to the new TS .86. What a difference.

Annnnnnd... Its running again!!!The head was in decent shape it seems after all. I got a chance to drive it around before the rain and man, what a STINKY machine. Traction is an issue granted the tires are only 225 kumhos. I made 370 whp last season and this thing is WAY faster now. Butt dyno is telling me around the 400 whp mark. I will be dynoing this thing soon to tell fore sure.

The power delivery feels amazing and is night and day from last seasons. It feels more linear and hits harder as well if that makes any sense. Throttle response has improved a ton. Of course there's no way to tell what made the difference since the head, FMIC, piping, manifold (with the addition of twinscroll) and turbine housing have all been changed lol.

Really hoping for 11s this year. Last year I had the four puck and couldnt manage a good 60ft to save my life. I also had major choking issues above 5k-ish RPM. With this new setup, the power does not stop at all. 6500 rpm comes quick lol.

My only issue that I'm scratching my head about is a misfire I have. I'm getting a DTC 21 - ignition coil primary, but I cannot isolate which cylinder. It only happens at idle and cruise, but boosts fine. I didn't have the mis last season, and I'm not sure if that DTC was there all along since swapping the LS2/truck coils.

i had my dumps reciculated with twin MVS gates i didnt use a flex never had a cracking issue, however welding will really move things around so make sure you account for that movement.. i ended up making them both vent to atmosphere later...

I hope you dont have creep issues, im having bad creep issues with my new turbo and cams, ( didnt before with a smaller turbo and stock cams) with a 12psi spring it will creep to boost cut which is set to 21psi.. thinking of ditching the 38mm MVS gates and going 44mm MVR...

Also... i think the 26 head will make a decent difference, the stock cams are notibly larger than the 25 stuff

Thats interesting, I've only heard of creep issues with a single WG and never that much creep.

Glad you like it! Haha.

Unfortunately the happy times might be at an end. Seems I may have a spun bearing. If I've wrecked this block, I'm not going to chase another RB30 down I'm gonna part this thing out.
