Hello I just joined this site recently after coming to it multiple times to read different articles. I have had my Pathfinder for over a year, and I have just recently started modifying it.

Here are some pics back when I first got it.

I've done quite a few mods since then, here is a list.

Altezza Tail Lights
Tinted the back windows (will get the front windows tinted soon too)
Nismo Emblem
Nissan Warning Sticker
Nissan License Plate Frame
Pathfinder License Plate Frame
Nissan Plate
Cell-Phone Antenna
Black Door Trim
Rear Tire Cover

I've got alot more planned, just gotta do a little at a time.

Here are some pics taken this morning. It looks so much better with a custom touch. :)

That's it for now, but there will most certainly be a whole lot more mods in the future, I hope.

Thanks! I plan to get clear bumper lights, a bugflector, some of those window visors, a new rear bumper with chrome sides on it (like how the SE bumper looks, I want to change every interior bulb to LED, also want to make my license plate lights LED and last but not least I want some decals. I gotta spend some money on mods and some on maintenance. Too bad I can't just spend it all on mods.

Also I can't forget rims. I want my ride to be sitting on 20's, but of course that will be expensive. A cheap set of rims would be like $600-700 and then I'd have to buy new tires to go with them. Well, I better start saving.

Nice! I also want LED license plate lights, since one of the bulbs shut down (finally after 10 years)

For the rims, you should just wait until you have to buy new tires and then get some rims also! 20's look great on the path. I just put 18's only because the 20's that I wanted were impossible to find in the US.

by the way, you can check out my path here: nismo-turbo-pathfinder-t548658.html?hilit=haltech

Did you get your lights tinted, or did you buy aftermarket lights that are smoked? I know I'm considering blacking out my lights. I just hope the stupid cops won't harass me about it.

They were tinted with a smoke film. This was one of my favorite mods, since it really helped my black and white look. I hope cops don't bother you because even with the tint, lights are still bright red when on and even more when braking.

Thanks, man! I'm a neat freak almost to an obsessive extent. If my car isn't clean it bothers me. Like if you had just spilled a bit of coffee on your white shirt. You'd keep thinking about it until you changed your shirt. I find it interesting that you don't like rims, perhaps these links will change your mind.

You know, Rock Stars are actually what I wanted. I have seen alot of rides with them, and they look awesome! I'd want them in chrome though, I don't really like black rims. When I'm riding on stars I want them to shine, if you know what I mean.

It's great that we all have different tastes. I would suck if everyone were to customize their ride the same way.

I guy at work also bashed on me about my ride he was like "I didn't know they made a Nismo Pathfinder" I just told him that I'm making my own Nismo Pathfinder. What is a Nismo anyway? It is nothing more than a tuned-up Nissan with maybe some nice rims and a body kit. It may also have some add amenities. So, who is to say you can't make your own Nismo? Our Pathfinders already have Nismo-ish appearances. Also yours is turbo charged, so for all intents and purposes your Pathfinder is a Nismo. I still have yet to tune up mine, but someday I hope to make mine a turbo too.

Well, hopefully the next thing you will see is a chrome grill, it will match the clear cornered lights.

please don't most Nismos aren't made by nissan like the Nismo 350z nissan made the frame then sent it to AUTECH who stitch welded the whole chassis and added the rest of the special components that make a Nismo a Nismo just because you put a Nismo badge on your car and some stickers it dosen't make it a Nismo you don't even have a single Nismo part even then you would just have a pathfinder with Nismo parts

Let me be clear with you, this is not an official Nismo. It never has been and never will be. What I am doing is making a Nismoish vehicle. Since Nismo never made a Nismo Pathfinder I'm making what I believe a Pathfinder would look like as a Nismo. Obviously performance parts and badging will never make it a Nismo. There are plenty of Mercedes with AMG bodykits, rims and performance parts. Does it make it an AMG? No, but it makes it look like an AMG. The same can be said with BMW and many other cars as well. All I'm going for is a Nismo look and high performance. In case you didn't know I have added performance parts to this vehicle. I'm gonna keep on doing what I'm doing and nothing anybody says is going to change my mind.

get some real nismo stuff then ill let off on you i have nismo off road stickers for my pathfinder (given to me ) but i wont be putting them on for the simple reason that they dont belong

I have the urge to be rude, but I won't just because of the simple fact that I'm a nice guy. I appreciate your feedback even though I don't care to hear negativity. What I am currently working on is just a project, it is nowhere near completion. I still have much work that needs to be done. I will in the future add more official Nismo parts to this vehicle. It will take some time since the money is not there. I'm not about making a fake ride that looks the part but doesn't perform. I've spent the last two months tuning up this vehicle so it performs better, and I have alot more work to do.

I'm really tired of useless comments like these.

It adds nothing and kills enthusiasm, which is a pretty big part of an internet forum.

Even if you didn't necessarily intend to make negative posts, these comes off as " You shouldn't call it a Nismo. My 350Z is more Nismo then your Pathfinder. Put some real Nismo parts on and you can have my approval." (With 4th grade grammar and punctuation)

This forum has been slow for a while, and you're trying to uselessly argue with someone who actually contributes.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Thank you! I felt the same way about this guys comments, he is just a troll who is trying to kill my enthusiasm and my ambitions. These forums aren't about that. To me this site is all about showcasing your ride, you post pictures of your ride and views pictures of other peoples rides. I see a ton of Pathfinders and QX4s that I love on this site. Then there are others that I do not like as much. I'll leave positive criticism on these vehicles, but I won't downright rag on people over their choice of customization. We all have different styles that is what I love about these forums. I'm all about motivating people and I love to be motivated by others. Also I do agree with you, z33r350z has atrocious grammar. You mention that he has the grammar of a 4th grader, but you forgot to mention that he has the maturity of one as well.
