Guys, I'm still fairly new to the forum so I hope I'm doing this right and not being too much of a nube!

So far I love my G35. I only have two small complaints, one is the squeaking coming from the tailpipes which seems to be common, and the other is a musty smell that I noticed in the winter so I'm wondering if it could be something in my dashboard. Any thoughts?

BTW-great forum, you guys helped me with my wheel/tire combo. These are Stern wheels (ok for the money and look really good) with 18.5 up front and 19.5 on the back. 225/35/19 F and 255/35/19 R tires.

welcome to our Internet home. Your musty smell could be your cabin filter. Behind the glove box. Get a new one in there to help the odor.

Welcome to NICO! These guys are very helpful. I am still learning stuff myself.

Yup musty smell could either be the cabin filter or the road kill under your chassis. LOL

If you do a search you will find a DYI install on the cabin filter. fairly simple.

Have fun on the twisties.

Car looks awesome man! Would you happen to remember what offset you got on those rims? Any problems with alignment or issues with the rims yet?

Not trying to be a copycat but I bent a rim and am l'm looking at replacing them all.

are you on stock suspension? how is your ride with 19s? I'm debating whether I should go 19s or not. I definitely don't want to sacrafice ride quality too much from my stock 17s. A little rougher is fine...but I don't want it to be too unbearable. My Audi with 18s and Eibachs were giving me a headache. The super harsh ride is not my direction for this car.
