My first drift build....1991 240 sx

In this thread i will be documenting my first drift build.

Here is a little bit about me before i get to the car. I am 39 years old hailing from the Great Pacific Northwest. Lake Stevens WA, which is 15 minutes away from Evergreen Speedway, the home of Evergreen Drift and the venue for Rd 5 of Formula Drift. I have an extensive history in automotive preventative maintenance and for the last 3 years i have served as crew chief for Cole Werner Racing, Cole is an Evergreen Drift Pro-Am Driver. Finally i have had the opportunity to obtain a 1991 240 hatch, which is the reason for this thread.

i am currently working as a deckhand on a commercial fishing boat and spend a good amount of time at sea fishing in Alaska, which i am leaving in a couple days for a month or two, so the start of my build will have to wait. but i have been working hard on my build plan so when i get home the build can start immediately.

My initial build will start with a KA24de. my objective will be to get the car running and on the track as quickly as possible so i will be keeping it simple, i will be doing a Silvia front end. as the rest of the build goes, still somewhat up in the air, but suspension will be done in the initial buid as well.

In what ever free time i have, which hasn't been much the last couple of years, i spend it on xbox playing Forza 4, in which i am a team co-leader of Drift Machine, GT is DMA Tyreslayer.

Now enough of all that. time to get to work so i can fund this build!!! I look forward to sharing my build with all of you!!!!
