Hot ride !!! Love the rims and Fuga tail lights, little too low for my taste about an 1/8 " ;) not crazy about the grille... btw is that '08 f. bumper ?! looks like...overall the car looks great presents itself well. I think that you did good swapping the tail lights, the original on the 06-07 models just look ridiculously "BIG" that it doesnt feel natural for them to be on, but thats just my opinion "."

Thanks Partysan, I agree with everything u said except for the size of the tails... my fuga tails & the regular OEM tails are the same size, but yah, I guess they look bigger on red. And yes I swapped my front bumper for an 08+ one.

its about time you posted some picture of your ride. One thing though, try to make sure there isnt fugly cars in your background bcuz it messes up your picture lol. I kinda like the grill on some of the pics, doesnt look too bad. I can tell that your car is pretty low in the front now, the 08 bumper must be shorter in height cuz looks like you have good ground clearance. With the new tails it looks like it flows better than with the red one's. The only thing i would say to do is take off the splash guards.

Yah, it dont look to bad but honestly in this case (08+ grille) I think OEM looks better, before I move on from it Ima it black like gmony nd see how it looks, thanks for the tips man... and I'll upload those pics I told you about later on the off topic thread so you can see that shaize... about the splash guards (they're about 1 inch off the ground) they're scraping everywhere, lol... I havent taken them off because I feel that it actually makes a little difference on the look of our cars IF it doesnt have either A. Aero kit or B. A body kit. Makes sense? Basically without the splash guards, body kit &/or aero pack, our cars sideview looks very plain... remove those splash guards even worse.

if you paint it black maybe paint the chrome trim on the hood to match your greenphite color n see how that looks. Yeah when i was OEM i had the splash guards on too but then one came off somehow so i tossed the rest of em. Maybe try the front ones off so you dont scrape em off n see how that looks lol. Its only 3 screw wont take but 5 minutes to see if u like it or not.

Bet. Also I was thinking about taking off the bumper grille off for good too, instead of taking it off and putting it back on, when I hit the road, etc. and especially when I paint the main grille black and since the OEM bumper grille is plastic black it'll look all right anyways.

Lmao, oh all right... well, if I want the ICC to work I need to take off my bumper grille. It just attaches to the OEM plastic grille.

It looks good. But I have never been a fan of that style of grill.

Looks good blanco! :dblthumb:
Lookout for those speed bumps with your front splash guards... Looks like your good in the rear as far as clearance for your stillen tips is concerned... Like some of the others here, having mixed feelings about the grill also :gotme not like you asked anyways right? Lol!

Thanks Mike & Agreed. I thought it was gon look better, I needed a grille since I couldnt use my OEM after I did the bumper changeout, so I got this, it was about the same price as an OEM 08+ grille

Thanks Noe, and yes, the actual tips are not in harm's way but the rest of the exhaust... just check the off topic thread in a few, I have some pix of how low the car actually sits, you'll see it's almost less than 2 inches off the ground.

i like the ride tails are a really nice touch, the drop is too low for me i have eibacjs and that is almost too low for me. i found whne i had coilover son my integra i slammed the car just to take pics but driving on them that low was just asking for trouble. hope you ride on flat surfaces, but the look is incredible!

Blanco,

that sh*zzit is tight!--rims work well with the drop

you know i love those tails--wonder what it would look like if you used a really light darker tint overlay

i would be afraid to do your drop, with all the construction going on around DFW, most of body panels would prolly fall off. also like the '08 bumper way more than '06

get rid of the amber turn signals and get the stealth bulbs or amber LEDs

i'm thinking about blacking out my OEM front grill except for the emblem

bought Eric's "S" emblem, thinking about repainting it darker metallic blue or some other color besides the red, still unsure of what color will match the greenphite.

Thanks Craig!!!

Bro, I'm not doing anything to my $700+ tail lights man... nada!!! Im not taking any chances on messing them up with either paint or overlays besides imo they're almost perfect with our car color, you'd really have to see them in person or maybe somebody with a better camera can shoot a good pic but my pix dont do these tails any justice man. Amber turn signals I will get around to eventually.

I can def see your oem grille looking good blacked out & the badge contrasting, but seeing is believing... so git' r done. About the "S" emblem if you're not going to get the Fuga tails anytime soon I'd leave them as is in red brother, they'd match with the OEM tail lights that way, especially since I think our car color had no business with red tail lights, lol. Let me know what you do with all that stuff tho.

My wheels are up for sale if anybody wants them... 20x8.5 +38 offset all around $1200 shipped WITHOUT tires, $1000 picked up... They're Venti Plus VP 106 multi piece forged wheels, I also have 2 barrels that you could rebarrel the rears to be around a +25 et and have bigger lips as well, I'd throw them on the deal for free but shipping would increase to $1300. There's no bents and NO CURB RASH just fixed some a couple of months ago, there's some scoffs on the diamond cut faces but nothing major... shipping's the same anywhere in the continental U.S. Paypal only...

Forgot to mention barrels will also make the rear wheels 20x9.5, plus you'd have two extra barrels in case you bust any of them...

Thnx man, MPGs suck on this car... literally SUV numbers, so u may want to consider an M35, looks exactly the same, lot less power tho. I'm not doing anything to my tail lights bro, lol... they're perfect like that to me nd btw it's black/smoked chrome, not regular chrome!!!
