... Bah, maybe it's something else though. ;)

Anyway, here's Stacey Acevero (sentrastace here on NICO) in the latest issue of S3 Magazine with you-know-who's car as the backdrop. Okay, ok, ok ... MINE! I feel so damn sexy right now! :chuckle: Anyway, just wanted to finally chuck this out there now that it's in print. Go get a copy and support her winning the '09 Enjuku Girl of the Year and our 240's ... I mean ... MINE! :bigthumb:

Thanks ... the only thing I didn't like about the photo (which we tried to make an issue of) is that the FMIC was darkened so much it looks like it's not there. Oh well, the purpose of the ad was about Stacey anyway, and I was just happy to be part of it. :)

God-awful? Hmm, I've had nothing but compliments since I've had them. I always liked the way it sleekened the look. Hehe, "sleekened" ... is that even a word? :chuckle: And what is "azn"?

It's a stock bodied zenki with some of the uglier wheels volk makes. I don't see the attraction. On a side note, that's great that you got in S3! Love that magazine.

Hmm, I don't recall asking you. What did you want to see, a beat up trendy looking drifter wannabe with zipties and bandaids? Oooooo, how original. Stacey chose my car for it's "clean" look, because the advertisement is about HER ... NOT my car. Am I excited? Yes, and I'm just thrilled she chose mine. Enjuku picked the magazine and we had no idea which one it would be until recently. How about you bub? What do you have? Where has yours been? You thrilled with those painted stock wheels? Please keep your negativity to yourself, and further more, I don't appreciate your unwelcome comments on my wheels. You know, really funny thing about the internet ... not once have I ever had a negative comment on the car in person at any shows/events over the years. Just goes to show how hiding behind these computers makes us less respectible towards each other sometimes. At least, some of us. Why are there so many haters on these boards. Jealousy? Attraction to the unattainable wishes of life maybe? Unfulfilled childhood dreams and dangling carrots? Well, you're welcome to go for a ride anytime ... you might just forget about the sleeper look. I'm quite proud of her ... and the car.

The attraction is the mature tastes of his build. It's super clean and tastefully devoid of any JDM aero or trend-whore wheel fitment. Not that there is anything wrong with JDM aero or baller/hellaflush fitment... but it's obvious that the car was built by someone with more mature tastes and an affinity for emaculate engine bays.

Scotty, congrats man! I really dig your car. It really reminds us of the possibilities available when you use USDM aero and don't conform to the forum troll's flaming.

Sidenote: What was Stacey like in person? :ohno:  Soooo amazingly hot...

It looks like the car was shopped in for the ad so he probably didn't get to meet her.

Yep. The deadline was waaay to soon to get the car up to Maryland, so I took about 125 pics or so (http://s736.photobucket.com/albums/xx9/ ... o%20Shoot/) and her photographer did a nice job with the rest. Stacey was thrilled with it! Me too. This was the original, and like I said I just wish the intercooler hadn't been darkened in so much ...

I will say, I had many emails and a couple phone conversations with Stacey and she is a wonderful person! She really deserves any and all the attention she gets! :dblthumb:

i partly agree with bigs, im not a fan of the eylids neither the rims. although he did say it too bluntly. no need to freak out at him though, there will always be people who dislike your car. and your car is obviously very clean, its too bad because your bay and interior are my favorite parts. thats what should have been showed imo. nevertheless congrats

Funny part is, I wanted to do the clear headlamps or German ones quite some time ago. But, why be status quo? Like I've said before, these are high quality fiberglass, not vinyl stick-ons. They really offset the car's visual persona from the front, and I've always heard positive comments in person. I only "freak" when opinions are not asked for ... that's like slapping your neighbor for no reason ... they're left looking at you like, WTF? I can understand when the OP asks for an opinion, like "Does this look stupid?", or "How do you like the look of my car?" ... They asked for an opinion, thus opinons are welcome. But my eyelids, wheels, stock body, etc. are not even the purpose of this post. Now, let's get back to the purpose of the post, which was to tout Stacey and her Enjuku ad (not mine) and the fact that I'm glad to have been part of it.

Haters.

Way to jump to a million different false assumptions. That post was alllll over the place, Haha. Sorry I hurt your feelings so bad, just giving my honest opinion. Don't take it so personally, everyone has different tastes. On a side note, that's a nice f*** KA-T.
