My armada turned off on me in the middle of the road! o.O

Soo im somewhat new to this...been on the forums pentle of times just never posted anything but anyways
I was driving my Armada(2004 LE) to the store and i was at a stop light and i noticed the engine choking alil and when i looked at the gauges all the light turned on and went crazy! and right after that the car just shut off on me. i was shocked cause its never done anything like that and i was in the middle of traffic..sooo i tried to turn it on and didnt turn over untill the 3rd turn and i drove off. i was driving slow cause i was scared it'd blow on me(my cuzzins s13 did da same thing n blew up on him) soo i was noticing 1st gear didnt have all the power its suppoed to have and it was kinda choking still at a full stop.sooo i got to the store and letted it sit there for a while and started it up and it was perfectly fine
would that be a problem or what?? any advise guys???????????

hi i have a 2004 QX56 and i had the same problem i replaced the IPDM Intelligent Power Distribution Module and the problem went away. i was told that it is some what a common problem

Like did that happen to you alot or what?cause its only happened to me twice but id rather be safe then sorry get me?? i took it to nissan and they didnt tell me nothin soo im alil stuck and its been running fine. i kinda do feel power lag at times but im not sure if that means anything?

Tough call. I'm assuming you had plenty of gas in it? Maybe you got a bad batch?

If it were me, and it happened again, I'd bring it back to Nissan. If they give you the same BS, remind them about their JD power dealer rating, and tell them they need to step up their game.
