What kinda numbers are you putting down with it?

The stock bottom end is good for like 550-600 if I remember correctly. Any idea what year the engine is? 95 on, Nissan addressed the crank collar issue on the RB engines. If it's a an older engine, you might want to get that taken care of.
yee they are pretty soilid motor but going past 600 without a rebuild is kinda a ticking bomb dont you think..im just playing on the safe side..probly 550 max thats hp not whp..did not replace the springs and valves but seems going well for meGold Digger wrote:Dude, the stock bottom end is pretty solid. You can run a stock RB26 to 8K all day long and it just begs for more. They are very well built engines.
With your cam set, did you replace the springs and valves?
I have heard issues with the 264 cams not working well without replacing springs and valves. It's just hear-say, but I hear it a lot over here.
I haven't done anything, yet, to my V-Spec, but I have many years to build her up. Gonna shoot for 500ps as a goal, which won't be too hard.
