I'm bored so just bumping this to say I picked up strut bar and 5/16 spacer from G_whizz. Now to find the time to install them and the '06 Z shocks/springs.

Damn convertible for having clutch problem right now.

I'd be very respectful, I'm willing to be your son-in-law, especially if there is a G-car wedding gift. :)

Speaking of which, shouldn't she have a G by now?

Finally put in the Motordyne spacer and GTSpec strut bar that I got from 'G Whiz'.

Sorry no pics while I was putting in the spacer.

Not sure if I feel a power difference.

How long did it take you to install the spacer?

Had a friend help since I didn't take the plenum off, just lifted it up (removed cover, unhooked intake pipe, and then just took out bolts and held it up). And only did the spacer, didn't add the iso thermal or anything. The install was only about 30 mins. The strut bar actually was harder than spacer to get the brackets/bar to line up together.

Yeah, look forward to putting Z suspension on, but have to save up for alignment. Probably being done with it for a while, except searching for a different front bumper possibly.

sooooo, the only thing that's going to REALLY make a difference is FI..........or, trading for that new 416+ HP 5.0....yup, need a handling review too.

Wondering if a strut tower brace would help daughters 98K 00 Max tighten up, of if I just need to replace the struts at this point.

My butt dyno may just suck, or its hard to feel 10hp in a heavy car. The only power increase I've really ever felt on any car was FI on my S13, even now the ka-t is a little more power than the G and it doesn't feel that way to me.

I think the struts would need to be replaced by now. And I see a strut bar helping FWD a little more than RWD. The front just has to do too much work and needs any help it can get. I'd say lower her max a little, but that's some extra costs and not wise in Boone (if she's still there).

As mileage update, I'll probably hit 37k miles today, almost doubling it miles from when I bought it a little over a year ago.

yup, that is what I was thinking, but right now I'm shopping tires (thread in MAX forum).
Still has tread between 6 and 4 32nds, but with winter coming....and last year was one of the worst in years at ASU (yep she is still there)
Sorry, your thread...but I did mention ASU!! :mike

I don't care, any mention of App and your daughter are good things. I'll be up there for the first game in less than a month.

Yeah last winter we the most snow we've had down here since I left Boone as well. With all my RWD sports cars it wasn't too fun.

Bored without football today, so...

Changed oil and washed G35 today, and had to move the others around, so took pics while the S13s were warming up. Coupe had a dead battery, been too long since I drove it. Both S13s are really dirty, pay no attention to that.

Enjoy.

Ah, I went with some chicken Etoufee (I can't spell it) over rice. Really full, not sure I can fit an adult beverage in. May go for a drive this evening though anyway.

Where/what brand is the Key Lime IC sandwich? Haven't seen and love Key Lime (had some pie in Key West once, fantastic).

Oh and I recommend something else over Tony:

Just added tint (35% due to lots of tickets around here lately for illegal tint) and I actually washed it yesterday.

Still have to save for alignment so I can install the Z33 shocks/springs.

Trucks and SUVs are allowed as dark as they want on any window behind the front 2. But cars are 32% for any window, windshield is only allowed a 6" strip of 32%.
