Had a friend help since I didn't take the plenum off, just lifted it up (removed cover, unhooked intake pipe, and then just took out bolts and held it up). And only did the spacer, didn't add the iso thermal or anything. The install was only about 30 mins. The strut bar actually was harder than spacer to get the brackets/bar to line up together.SVTCOBRA wrote:Looks good!
How long did it take you to install the spacer?
Yeah, look forward to putting Z suspension on, but have to save up for alignment. Probably being done with it for a while, except searching for a different front bumper possibly.RED_DET wrote:Coming along nicely!
Really?biggie wrote:Not sure if I feel a power difference
My butt dyno may just suck, or its hard to feel 10hp in a heavy car. The only power increase I've really ever felt on any car was FI on my S13, even now the ka-t is a little more power than the G and it doesn't feel that way to me.SVTCOBRA wrote:sooooo, the only thing that's going to REALLY make a difference is FI..........or, trading for that new 416+ HP 5.0....yup, need a handling review too.
Wondering if a strut tower brace would help daughters 98K 00 Max tighten up, of if I just need to replace the struts at this point.
yup, that is what I was thinking, but right now I'm shopping tires (thread in MAX forum).biggie wrote:
I think the struts would need to be replaced by now. And I see a strut bar helping FWD a little more than RWD. The front just has to do too much work and needs any help it can get. I'd say lower her max a little, but that's some extra costs and not wise in Boone (if she's still there).
Where/what brand is the Key Lime IC sandwich? Haven't seen and love Key Lime (had some pie in Key West once, fantastic).SVTCOBRA wrote:Had four cheeze burgers here! And, crispy crowns covered in Tony Chachere!

Trucks and SUVs are allowed as dark as they want on any window behind the front 2. But cars are 32% for any window, windshield is only allowed a 6" strip of 32%.audtatious wrote:They don't allow 20% in the rear?
