timing is critical...as mentioned. I use a video on my cell phone for timing.

Wait 3 sec. press gas pedal and release 5 times within 5 sec.

MAKE SURE to press and hold at exactly 15 sec on the timer and it will work every time.

If I find one for cheap maybe, but not looking to spend money currently.

Maybe something cheap sometime. I plan on making a cooling panel for my S13 sometime, if I have extra sheet metal might do something with that.

Got around to putting on my OEM 19s I'd picked up a while ago.

Bridgestones up front came on them, had to replace the rears, so friend had some 255/30 Pilot Sport 2s.

Cleaned and used Mother's mini-powerball/polish on them.

Yeah, I like them, now to just sell the 17s to recoup some money.

I put my old 17's (ruff shape) on craigslist and an AT&T student drove up from G'boro and bought them! Think he was putting them on an older Max.They sold pretty darn quick!

Yeah I've posted them about everywhere, being staggered probably slows the sell.

It really looks much better!

I don't know why Infiniti ever put 17's on the G's because they look retarded!

Looks much better with the Rays. Did the mother's polish/power ball help that much. Those look super clean.

They were in good shape to start, but the polish did get some dirt off of them that I didn't see. Hopefully will protect a little against brake dust (OEM pads are still on right now, but Hawk pads will be on soon).

Sadly I'm just about to roll over to 30k miles.

Drove to work today. A ton of road noise in the front, maybe the fronts got out of balance, need to get that checked.

I still like the no spoiler look. I think its from having S13s and the 'wangan' spoiler that a lot have, the G spoiler looks too similiar to me.

Put in the "problems" thread, but I went to tighten bolts for my driver's seat because I tilted when braking/accel.

Bolts weren't loose. Front metal bracket near the tunnel on Driver's seat is broken almost completely in half. Taking it to Infiniti tomorrow, doubt they'll cover it under any warranty (but my argument is that its a safety issue, like seatbelts, should always be covered). Guess we'll see.

Also had a hole in the sidewall of the rear driver's tire. Those were almost worn out so got two new rear tires. Went with same brand as on the front though had to go up a size. Now running Nexxen's all around, 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.

Crappy cell pic of rear 265/30/19 on the rays 19x8.5:

Also did pick up '06 Z shocks/springs from 'tollbooth' and should be installing them for the 1/2 inch drop sometime this summer.

Those first couple pics makes me realize how much I loved the stock 17s... When i had those, it was wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza re090. Made my car look slammed and I pushed my car on every turn I don't get the same traction with my rims now. Maybe its the tires?

Definitely would be tires unless you switched to smaller wheels/tires.

I have 235 up front and the 265/30 happen to be what size Nexxen made. Did have 255/35 on there before that. Just didn't want to have the 40 size difference from front to rear.

Basically I was/am broke and really wasn't planning on tires right now. The 265/30 Nexxen's were $145 per tire, everything else was $205-$400 per tire. I've had no issues with Nexxens though, have them all around on the G now and all around on my S13 KA-T Coupe.

Inifiniti will not cover broken seat bracket (at least not on '03). They said $200+ to pull seat out and weld OR $900+ for lower assembly replacement.

I told them I'd pull it out and get it welded. Damnit.

Took out seat and got friend to weld the bracket. Also a support piece for that bracket had a bolt fall out, so put that back in as well.

Feels good not to have a rocking chair in the G.
