Motoman's amazing RHD KA-T kouki S14 build 56k lol

Hey guys, most of you know me, some of you dont. my name is Alex, and i live in Eureka Ca. i have owned 4 240sx's and loved them all (except for my first one, thing was beat to hell)

well i own a 98 240sx se kouki. i bought the car martin luther king jr day 2008 (i think) and it was/is my baby (dont call cps!). about 9 months ago i wrecked the car in Portland Or looking for a job well i got the car back to my house and started sourcing parts. thanks to I_LOVE_JDM for hooking it up with the parts. i have had zero help with this project so far. its been 100% me, other than the drive down to fresno to get the parts (thanks zeb) and the 5 speed swap (thanks bert). so i guess some pics with a little explanation. enjoy, and dont flame me about the wreck cause you late on the trigger.

shortly after i bought it. had hks hi power on it. traded that exhaust for an hks super dragger (thing is HUGE)

2 weeks after i bought it some A hole hit me. i got $4000 from that. his name in my phone was "Gary 240 wrecker" lol

just got done with the 5 speed swap, and also converted it to 95 wiring also.

welded diff FTW

then i got the dents fixed. i paid this guy to do it to make it look factory (he did a s*** job and it cracked a week later. im going to take it all off and redo it.



got a knock light and a EDM cluster

then.....

i got it back home $600 dollars later and got the clip





and how it sits today. i have a lot more work to be done and will be doing it slowly because of funding. im broke and spend money in the wrong places lol


well i will be updating this slowly also. i suck at loading pics on the computer. its a PIA for me lol but ill do it semi often. adios

Well nice and damn. Nice on getting it back and putting it together and damn cause it got wrecked. But either way i always wanted to see what you were doing, when i read "Car: 98' wrecked (RHD coming soon) 240". Now it will be nice seeing it on here.

i was looking to move to portland to live, and i was searching for a job. saw a construction site off the side of the road. turned my head, and when i looked back traffic was at a dead stop in the middle of the road. there was no stop sign or traffic light. just dead stop. still dont know why. i hit a mexican lady (no offense to mexicans) who was prego and due the very next day. she didnt speak a lick of english. and that lady hit a trucks tow hitch in front of her. it bearly did damage to the yukon i hit and didnt do a thing to the trucks tow hitch. my bumper broke her spare tire loose though lol.

so i dont have any updates on the car, but i do about my truck pictured above. i bought the truck with a blown engine. just got the engine back from the machine shop and am reassembling it. when i get it in and running ill start on the 240 again. i just need something to drive again cause i just got my license back woot woot lol thanks for looking

ya man i remember your car... you get that core support figured out? hows the kouki conversion? show some pics. lets see it.

no update yet.. been working on my truck like crazy. port and polish, polish combustion chambers, polish piston tops and smooth sharp edges, paint engine bay flat black, remove rusty AS$ battery tray, make new battery tray, clean and measure parts for install. im still waiting on the valves and valve guides. then i need to take the head to the machine shop so they can cut the seats .5mm bigger and surface the head. then ill put it in and soon after turbo it. still trying to think of how im going to turbo it. i am debating using honda fuel injection and running crome (its dirt cheap and fully tunable). but i did make a bitchin oil return line in the factory spot. had to drill two 1/4" holes and tap them for 6X1.0 thread and a 1/2" hole for the oil to go through. then made a plate to bolt to it with a pipe for the hose. looks sweet! any ways when the truck is running N/A ill start the 240 again. thanks for viewing..

i picked it up from a member on here (I_LOVE_JDM). he cut me a pretty good deal on it, but i had to drive 10 hours one way to get it. but he did let me stay at his place lol. i do have some of it. i have a dash that has a big chunk out of it that i think im going to flock. and i have the wipers and panel. but srraptor is going to give me his clip if i go pick it up. so that will help out with some other things. then i need to call up (more like email) United Kingdom and get the rest of my rhd parts. i found everything i needed over there one time, including a new dash and EVERYTHING else for 400 bucks. but fed ex wanted $4000 to ship it. so i couldnt afford that. i have been thinking about just going over there and buying a full s14 and shipping it back. it would probably be cheaper.

well i havent exactly been sitting on my a**... but kinda. i have been doing work on other peoples cars, trying to make some money. but it seems all my money goes to bills... i need to narrow that down. my sears card is eating me alive.. i need a damn job.

well guys, its not much. BUT i did start working on the car again. so expect some more updates soon

started on the Energy Suspension bushings. i know all of you have seen the pics of the fire and stuff so i didnt take much. just one


also i dont know why i didnt post this before, its how i got the clip to my house. 10 hours with the zenki towing a kouki clip lol

the spoiler on the white s14 has a brake light... strange

wow thats a lot more that in expected. almost a full inch it looks like. i knew the tension rods moved a bunch, cause every s14 i have owned, they have been blown and leaking.
