Hi,

When I looked at the "catalogue" pictures of 2011 Rogue, there is a vertical part in the glove box. I think it is a useful part, hence the volume is too big and needs to be separated. I have a 2011 SV AWD and in my glove box, there is a slot for that piece, but the part itself is missing. Does anyone in this forum owns an SV and has that piece?

Although I have the premium package, my car has no dual-layer center console shelf (96925-JM00A) :tisk: . Tomorrow I will go to dealer and ask for that part as well.

I have this piece in my '08. I'm not sure if it was eliminated in later model years. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

The tray for the center console (dual level) was eliminated starting in 2010 model year. You can still buy it as an accessory though.

I too have this piece in my 09 Rogue SL, and I agree it is very functional dividing the space

if the slot is there that piece should be there also, take it back to the dealer sooner rather than later

Today I went to the dealer and they weren't aware of that dual-level tray. Actually they didn't event recognize that it is one of the parts that comes with the Premium Package. They said they will send an e-mail to Nissan Canada to ask for that part.

As written at the back cover of the catalogue with the smallest font available, Nissan Canada has the rights to change any specifications written on it. So probably they decided to remove that tray from Canada Rogues!

Qashqai,

Read my post above. The tray in the centre console was deleted starting with the 2010 model year. It is not available in the 2011 model either.

The tray can be purchased, it's not that expensive. Less than $30. The part no you posted is correct: 96925-JM00A

The glovebox divider is part # 68580-JM00A (black) or 68580-JM00B (grey)

Hmmm, we know for sure the console storage tray was deleted because it was clearly indicated. The '08 and '09's clear showed the 'Dual-level tray' in the specs, for '10 and '11 this feature isn't listed.

The glove box divider is a mystery though as it's not explicitly mentioned anywhere.

Perhaps some fellow '11 Rogue owners can check their vehicles and repsond?

Even mine did not come with those parts. I was also expecting the cargo divider in the trunk. Instead I have just a storage compartment.

My 2010 SL didn't have the console tray (as it was removed as standard equipment as previously stated) but It also did not come with a divider for the Glove box.

My 2011 did not come with the glove box divider, my 2009 did. I miss it and will likely buy one.

Hi D-Rock,

I have some price quotes from dealers from Ottawa:

for Glove Box Divider:
Tony Graham Infiniti Nissan: $46.02 + tax

for 96925M-Center Console Tray:

417 Infiniti Nissan (east end, close to St. Laurent shopping Center): $58.00
Tony Graham Infiniti Nissan (at Bells Corners): $39.98 (You can either visit the parts department or call Olavs Kazaks,
Parts Manager (613.596.1515) and order that part)

That is stupid, they decided to remove a $40 part from 2011 models, at the same time they still keep the groove that holds the tray...

Thanks for the research, Qashqai.

My Rogue was picked up from 417 since that's where our fleet account is dealt with, but I live in Bells Corners and know Olavs from skiing (small world!) so I will likely go there and get the ridiculously overpriced Glove Box divider. I find it hard to believe that there is almost a $20 difference for the Console Tray between dealers. I've never seen the Console Tray in person so I may go check it out to see if I can live without it.

Also noticed a new quirk today where my temperature indicator was flashing, haven't looked it up yet, but I'm assuming it was doing that since it was around the freezing point (flashing at 0 and +1). It was pretty annoying.

I know, that is annoying, but you can turn it off by using the knob on the right (next to the speed gauge), and access to "settings" (the car must be parked to access this feature).

On "settings", go to "alarms" and go to "temperature" and turn it "off". It wont blink anymore. In Ottawa, with this alarm blinking, I can't concentrate on driving the car :)

Today I talked with my dealer and he said "you shouldn't buy a "center console tray" designed for 2008 or 2009 model cars, because they may change the design of the console for 2011 models (I am %100 sure it will fit, because the console still has a groove for the tray) and they may not fit to our car... Since the "Tony Graham Nissan" offers to order that part with "no return" statement, it is a risk. However on my next visit, I will offer him to check one of the second hand Rogues on sale (2008 or 2009) at the dealer for its Console Tray and try it on my car.

For the glove box divider...it is really expensive! Isn't it just a molded black plastic part? It has no mechanical or electrical parts..just a molded plastic part. I still don't understand why Nissan Canada decided to remove those parts from 2011 models, while keeping their slots and grooves.

For the price difference...that is my first new car in Canada and I never dealt with Canadian dealers before. Do they have the right to sell genuine Nissan accessories and parts with their preferred prices? Can one dealer sell "Part A" for $10, where as the other sell that same "Part A" for $100? Sure they can sell the car for less (negotiating with the customer), but what about parts and accessories? What is the profit margin for "suggested retail price"? Should I do a market research and ask all the Nissan dealers in Ottawa before buying a part or accessory to find the best price?? Should I negotiate with the dealer each time I buy an accessory or part? Just to save $20, it is ridiculous for me to go from Orleans to Bells Corners to order the part (and pay the total amount), return back and after couple of days go there again and get the part? I will spent TIME and GAS!!!!!

I am really confused and annoyed...

Check with the sponsors on the right --> to see if they are cheaper or not.
Don't forget to include the shipping, but no tax since it comes from the US.

No time loss, no gas used.

As far as I know, I will pay tax + customs + brokerage fee..But I am not %100 sure, because I didn't buy anything from US before.

For something so inexpensive (less than $200CAD), nobody will bother make you pay brokerage fee as long as you don't make it ship through UPS or Fedex (ask it to be sent by usps).
No brokerage fee = no customs (still since it is less than $200).

You would be surprised how much it is cheaper to buy outside of Canada for small stuff. I fully agree that the situation is 100% stupid as it doesn't help our local economy, but that is just a fact.

As an example: I have DVI-D cable enroute from Hong Kong that I paid $2 + $2 of shipping. I, of course, don't expect to get any other surcharge. At the closest Futureshop, they wanted to charge me $49 + taxes (15% now) for the same cable. Yeah, right. I pretty sure it is about the same quality as both are probably built in the same factory in China, anyway.
OK, it will take about 2 weeks to arrive instead of having it right away, and I would probably been able to get for less than $20 in the US and here in 2-3 days, but I am not in a hurry, so I am Ok with the delay, and keeping the extra $ in my pocket.

The missing divider for the glove box was eliminated from the production Rogue vehicles in June 2010 (including the 2010 models) by Nissan (both US and Canadian versions) and is not available for the 2011 model year. However, the 2010 will fit the 2011 from what my parts guy tells me. 68580-JM00B for grey, 68580-JM00A for black.

Has anyone in the GTA gone ahead and ordered the Glove Box Divider and the Center Console Tray? If so, what dealership did you order from and how much did the parts run you?
