mechanical oil pressure gauge

Has anyone installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge on a 89 s13 yet? Do you need a T fitting to attach to the oil sender? and also the water temp sender for a water temp gauge?

A T fitting would be the best way cause then you just replace the stock sending unit with the T then connect the stock oil pressure sending unit and the line for the oil pressure gauge into the T.

Don't know about the water temp.
