As an owner of a beautiful 2003 Maxima, I would really like to see a 5th/5.5 gen Maxima Project car. Do you guys have anything in the works, or even plan too?

hint, hint, I would gladly volunteer. I'm kidding by the way, but I would like to see some write ups or tech tips on more Maximas.

It's something we are considering. That said, it probably won't happen until after the economy is buzzing strong again and we can boost advertising (and page count).

C'mon Bex, we have 2 guinea pig Max's ripe for some mods! Oh wait, you probably knew that already. If, and when the auto industry is good again, and I am making decent money in it, we will have lots o' mods forth coming.

I know it's not a 5th gen, but I did pick up a 2001 Maxima that will become the latest project car in the magazine. Should see a introduction in the Spring issue (#14).

It was too good of a deal to pass up. Looks brand new with only a small tear in the drivers seat. The kicker was that it only has 51,000 original miles on it. Offered the guy $4900.00 and he said yes. I think the trade in value is a little over 8K, so I'm guessing this was a great deal/steal!

I will post pictures in the next couple of days.

Stay away from Eibach pro-kit springs as they make the 5th-gen too harsh.
