True. Having the ECU from the engine you take should not leave a CEL on. My problem would be the NATS system, I am familiar with Mitsubishi engine swaps (I read a write-up on putting a SOHC 2.4L into a 2002 OZ Rally) and you have to switch over the ignition antenna for the key to turn over.
