M56 Performance Mods

Newbie to the M56 forum, long time Infiniti owner. I am looking for what performance mods you have done to your M56.

I just got an M56 too. I heard there is a turbo kit but then you void your factory warranty. I just got the car yesterday and it took me forever to get out of it an go to work. I love this car

About the only mods I have seen that I would consider are Stillen exhaust and coilovers. I haven't been able to find any performance numbers on the Stillen, but it sounds good. Would love more input on a preferred brand of coilovers, and how they affect ride quality. I am not considering springs only, as they cause premature wear on the stock struts and shocks.

On my G35, I had lots of performance parts available. It was easy to get the cold air intakes and upgraded manifold. Although I had a fantastic custom made exhaust system with high flow cats and had a hint of rumble at idle and sounded means at wide open throttle. So far just K&N's and will be taking it in for another custom exhaust that hopefully sounds like my G but a bit lower. I also need to get new tires to get rid of the tramlining issue with the stock tires. I really wish more performance parts were available.

since the car is "new" to the US there wont be many aftermarket parts. Japan has coilovers, exhaust, throttle body, ecu, etc. If you want to spend an arm and a leg you can get them!
