Just wondering... Does the 2006 m35x have a limited slip differential or just a regular one!?

OK, dummy that I am-what's the difference between the two? What is preferred?

I just googled the above. Apparently LSD was the precursor to traction control. Traction control we've got; it supersedes LSD. Don't need no damn LSD.

The car does not come with a vlsd differential, that was one of the reasons I upgraded to a G37s rear diff. It has a slightly higher ratio and has the viscous limited slip.

The VLSD can help in assisting to put the torque where it needs to be. Its best not to judge something you dont know anything about except for a 5 minute google search.

Thx for info guys:) I was thinking that because of M35x ATTESA E-TS it would have a LSD, but i guess it does not. Anyway, it looks like our M is not a great car for serious offroading:)
