Hello,

I once again turn to Nico for advice since you guys fail me 0 times!

I have access to a set of 19 inch infiniti M35 wheels. My car's a 98 Q45 non touring. Couple of questions:

1. Will it just bolt on or do I need modifications of any kind?2. What are some good tire sizes to run for 19" on the Q?3. Would you have a picture with a FGY33 with M35 wheels so that I can get an idea what it will look like?

Thanks

Is your Q lowered? If not I would recommend 245/45's or taller if you want to sustain a comfortable ride. If you are lowered, you might look at 45's or shorter depending on your clearance. Do you know the offset on the M wheels? This will also play a part in what tires you get.

The offset on the M35 wheels is too high, it will require spacers to prevent the wheels from hitting against the suspension.

There's a black Q45 (Y33) with a set using ~1" spacers.

The G35 and M35 wheels are not comparable. The M35/45 Sport 19's would sit an inch "further in" than the G35 Coupe 19's.

G35 Coupe 19" wheels areFront 19x8.0 +30Rear 19x8.5 + 33

The M35/45 Sport 19's areFront 19x8.5 +55Rear 19x8.5 +55

If your talking about the M wheels off the sport model they are made by Enkei and I have them on my 97' Q45. They do NOT fit without a spacer installed. Trust me I had my mechanic try it, the rears would fit but the fronts wouldn't clear the strut due to the offset of those rims.

If you choose to go the spacer route (the only way these will fit) I highly recommend that you find a set of high quality aluminum ones. I got ones that were like 1 1/4" which was the size that they told me I need based on the offset of the stock rims and the offset of the replacement ones. You can find cheaper ones but if you really want to do it you gotta do it right. I spent nearly $300 on them.

Once you get the spacers the look is awesome. Moves the rims out to the edge of the fenders.I also lowered my car with Tein springs and KYB SR Special replacement shocks/struts. the car handles aweseome. I put Bridgestone Potenza 050A Pole Postion 245/35 19 tires. I will change to 40 sereies when I replace the tires as i was worried they wouldn't fit but the will. BTW, no rubbing EVER and no bottoming out EVER. Love the setup, but with the 35 series tires expansion joints and other sharp bumps hit hard.

Hopefully this is the total view of the car.

This should be the front tire, nice fit, perfect!

Hopefully you see the rear here, no rubbing at all and there is plenty of clearance behind the front tire to the strut. I think I can go for 40 series next time instead of the 35's (check them out, there is like no sidewall.
