So I am going to be doing a lot of work to my car over these next few years, basically a complete overhaul of everything. 1st up is the suspension, next will be trans, driveshaft, diff, and axles. I know a bit about the various springs we have as options on this car but mot much else about suspension unfortunately. I see from other threads that I should buy these KYB parts:
341141 - Front Right Strut Assembly
341142 - Front Left Strut Assembly
349053 - Rear Shock Absorber x2
SM5482 - Rear Shock Mounting Kit

and I also am buying some Energy Suspension 9.5161R and 9.5171R sway bar bushings. I plan to go with some Eibach springs for this overhaul and will probably also buy the Eibach pro alignment kits for both the front and rear of the car.
What other parts will I need to replace the entire suspension of the car?

need to add the sway links - front and rear.
for the struts, if you want to go all out, get the new rubber damper that goes over the piston.
new nuts and screws.
and most important of all - do not rush and take pics :)

Are there any specific brands for our car that is known to have very strong/high performance and sway links and dampers? I am building things out to withstand a significant amount of power and weight being thrown around.

I ended up going with these end links:

Raybestos 545-1779
Raybestos 545-1780
Raybestos 545-1657
Raybestos 545-1658

Those are their "professional grade" models rather than the "service grade".

I had a similar thread like this posted just days ago, but might as well discuss it here since you're doing the same thing as me (I'm at 120kmi so I want to do a refresh on the suspension). Here is the link: front-suspension-overhaul-t586365.html

I did the coilovers 20kmi ago, and at the same time I did the sway bar links (Moog not Raybestos)...but nothing else. What else should be changed?

I'm dropping the car off at the shop that adjusted my coilovers last time, next week. They will do a thorough inspection of the suspension (as well as re-adjust my suspension as it might have sagged a bit) and tell me what they found...but my guess is I'll need new tie rods, ball joints (do I need to get control arms with them?), etc.

Anyone have any part numbers for those?

do wheel bearing too - i can't believe those basterds gone bad. our previous infiniti with much higher miles didn't have this crappy issue.

Ya I just had my front passenger side bearing go bad and be replaced 3-4k miles ago. I asked the dealer if both fronts should be replaced at the same time for rolling resistance and wear reasons and the dealer said dont worry about it and only replace them if they start to have an issue. But since I am doing the whole suspension anyway I will probably do the other 3 bearings just because.

Yeah, I did mine like 25k ago (driver side - in July 2013) and the passenger side was done by the dealer under warranty 60kmi ago (like 2 years ago). I know, in my case, it's not a hub/bearing issue...I'm convinced it's something with the suspension itself (either the coilover or something like a tie rod, etc.).

what is the need for replacing the sway bar end links? I haven't replaced mine and haven't noticed anything wrong with them. Does anyone know if energy suspension carry's replacements instead of using oem style parts?

I don't know that my end links NEED replacing, but as I am doing a near 100% overhaul on the car I want to change out the entire suspension whether a couple parts here or there need it or not. I do know all the main parts of my suspension are in need of replacement so I might as well do everything at the same time so I know exactly how old each part is. Also the end links I bought seem like they might be a little bit stronger which I am definitely wanting anyway. I am also going to be looking into seeing if I can replace my sway bar itself too with a slightly thicker one or made of some other kind of stronger material. I dont think any aftermarket sway bars exist for this car so it will most likely be custom made.

My guy ended up saying my sway bar links were bad. Aren't those the same as stabilizer end links? Surprised they went after 20k (I installed new stabilizer end links when I installed the coilovers)...but before I buy them I need to know if it's the same thing. Please let me know. Thanks!

After doing some digging online, I think they are one and the same. I am going to be buying some from Advance Auto Parts soon. Here are the front part numbers:

Driver side: 101-6418
Passenger side: 101-6417

They are pretty easy to install. With coupon D41 (online), it's $88 for both shipped to my house (with tax).

Yo9u could either get those Beck/Arnley ones IlyaKol posted, or I posted the parts for Raybesto's brand above. I don't know which is better but I could find more info on the Raybestos and they looked good to me.

Do we need them for the rear or just the front?

There is two in front, and two in rear.

And yeah, depends on what your local store carries. I would have gotten the Raysbestos ones too if the price was close and they were offered. I prefer Moog (which advance carries) but the one side was like $90 while the other was $45 so I said hell to the no and bought the Beck/Arnley ones again. Let's see how long they last this time.
