I have searched for the last 30 minutes but haven't found what I'm looking for. So please help me determine what exhaust options are out there for a SR20 powered dedicated drift car (non street legal). Fully built turbo motor. My criteria are: cheap (its gonna get beat up), Able to withstand high temps, Loud as possible (need to hear car over loud a** v8s), Unrestrictive. Don't say open downpipe becase that kills low end torque.

So far my list is:
1. Buddy club spec II
2. Custom straight pipe

My 3" straight through (custom, because NO ONE makes anything to S12's) with out a muffler sounds badass, pretty damn loud too. And I only have a t25, with a larger turbine housing I'd be willing to bet it would be louder.
It's actually louder than an open down pipe.

I saw an S12 at drift race couple weeks ago (MDU at Sportsdrome in Clarksville, IN). I could'nt believe how close they look to an AE86.

Found another exhaust option: ISIS Race Straight Dual 3" Tip Exhaust - Only $250. Thats half the price of the buddy club. Wonder how it will hold up cause I'm guessing its not stainless steel for that price.

Nah nah, you got it backwards! The AE86 looks like the S12! ;)

Here's a video of my exhaust.

Haha maybe but ive never even seen one until now. Nice sound there, loud and clear. I just ordered the ISIS race exhaust to avoid fab costs and hassle.
