Hi folks,
I bought a used G37x and the heated seats did not work from day 1. Well winters close so I decided its time to get them working!

I've searched through all the service manuals, googled the web etc., but I can't find the specs for the relay. I suspect the relay at the moment as the fuse checks out OK. By the way, after rotating the switches, the little lights do not come on.

I haven't yet opened the console to get at the relay itself, I'm hoping some kind soul has done this repair already ;)

I did go to my nearest Nissan dealer, but surprisingly they were unable to help!

Many thanks
Mark

Hey Mark - You already looked at the Factory Service Manual?

I'm thinking if you could locate the relay, that'd help a ton.

I'd also want to test the switches, as they've been known to go bad (mine did, due to a small splash of spilled beverage). :)

I searched through all the service docs and found its the one behind the center console - labelled M70 in the service manual. However, I also found that M70 is just the connector ID for the relay.

And yes, I should have checked the switches - I will do so on the weekend.

Well, I opened up the console and found that the 3 cables were disconnected! It looks like the previous owner messed coffee on the switches and simply disconnected everything.
I've reconnected them, and so far everything seems to work.

Thanks.
I tested the heater this morning - it was 43F on the way to work. Very nice!
