Clutch Pack Key features:
  • The case has been optimized to allow the fitment of 8 clutch plates (stock is 6) without making the discs or plates thinner.
  • Larger piston can provide 110% more pressure force than stock with the same oil pressure.
  • Inner oil seal has been redesigned to provide 170% more pressure resistance than stock.
  • Thrust needle bearing has been changed to a ball bearing to provide support up to 8500 RPM.
  • Clutch kit is 300% stronger than stock and capable of handling 175% more torque than the stock unit.
  • Capable of supporting over 1000 HP while still maintaining drivability for the street.

Gear Kit Key features:
  • Transmission layout has been redesigned to fit wider cog gears than stock. Stock cog size is 19.5mm while HKS cog size is 24.5mm.
  • Upgraded plates that are 3x stronger than stock, preventing distortion that could cause failure in the wider cog gears.
  • Ridged sandwich plate and steel front cover give stronger bearing support strength.
  • Gear shape has been redesigned to prevent partial cog contact which can cause gear failure, while also reducing noise.
  • Gears have been coated using a special surface treatment used in F1 cars to prevent oil film failure.
  • Shift fork has been redesigned to be stronger.
  • Shafts have been redesigned to use a screw on the end to prevent snap rings from falling off. This creates less press-fit load, which allows for a strong shaft and easier installation.

That is some amazing, serious hardware. I don't think I have seen anything like this for the GT-R, but then again, this costs more than my Z itself!

Sweet offering for the serious GT-R enthusiast.
