Tony Nazzal (Chameleon widebody 350Z ring a bell?) and I have put our heads together to offer you RAM Lightweight Crank pulleys. These precision engineered pulleys are constructed from 6061 T6 Aluminum and are manufactured in the USA. They happen to be the lightest pulleys available on the market and have been tested for exceptional balance. We also made sure to match the inlet profile to the OEM unit for precise fitment and to avoid crankcase seal failure.
The goal when developing these pulleys was to keep 3 very important key points in mind. Quality, Performance, and Aesthetics.
Quality - We chose industry standard aluminum alloy with manufacturing tolerances in the 1/1000 range. And had the parts manufactured here in California.
Performance - Other companies have cut corners in order to make a killing on their products. We precision engineered out product to be strong and light. The result is a pulley that's 25-50% lighter than the competition.
Aesthetics - Tony loves show cars and he wouldn't let this one go. He insisted on choosing a gorgeous gunmetal anodized finish (customized to our specs) and made me spend days perfecting the spoke design to reflect the RadioActive brand.
Now for the kicker: In order to give back to the community that has taught me so much over the years, I've been authorized to offer a special forum price for our first batch of these pulleys. Regular price on these is $225. Forum special is $160!!!
Application list: G25, G35, G37, M35, M35 Hybrid, M37, FX35, EX35, 350Z, 370Z
FX45 to come.
And just a quick FAQ:
What about the OEM Dampener? I don't want my engine to blow up.
The OEM unit is NOT dampened. It's a solid cast iron unit (or two piece unit for the dual belt setups). Our pulleys are balanced within 1/2 gram and can be balanced to 0 net bias for an additional fee.
I heard these will dim my lights and cause my stereo to cut out:
That would be an underdrive pulley. These are OEM diameter and run all of your accessories at the same speed they were intended. The weight loss is in the materials used and the actual design.
