Welcome, glad to have another Max on board. You're on NWMax and the .org, ever check the regional threads? Any other aftermarket mods?

SWEET! Is it an '01? Wish you could have made it to Olympia for the meet on 10/07. I think you'll like it here. You can't get away with the s**t that E-Bam tolerates, but here is probably one of the coolest groups of people I've met. Very relaxed and nOOb friendly.

I hope i'm not considered too much of a noob here, i've got like 1400 posts on the .org, but on this site, i'm definitly a noob . I look forward to meeting some new people on here

Thanks! Nice 3rd gen! I'll always have love for the 3rd gen. I sold mine a few months ago and though it was a pain in the butt to keep up, I loved it.

I don't think post count means s**t. There is a guy on here that has like 800+ posts and he joined at the start of September, THIS YEAR!!! So what if you're a nOOb. We're not a group of elitists, we just enjoy our cars and the people we meet here. I still have yet to see someone post "search nOOb" on this site. I think a lot of people you will meet here, have a great respect for the .org, but do not believe in the elitist attitude over there. Glad you're here!!!I think this sums it up pretty well:zerothread/201656

Don't worry about post counts here. As Noah said, at NICO it's about the people and our love for the cars. The people and atmosphere are what brought me here years ago from the org. I found that NICO has a great group of people that are all about the passion that they share in common, and don't mind helping others. I can assure you that flaming/bashing of new members is something that I and the rest of the Mod team here will not put up with. This forum is here to offer help/advise/technical info to those who seek it. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as I do.

Welcome aboard!!!

That 3rd-gen is FREAKIN GORGEOUS (my favorite Maxima).

The new one is beautiful as well - Good to see one with some well thought-out mods.

Hey, me too. I'll join NWMaxima in a moment as well. I was browsing this forum right after registering and saw your thread. I am also on my third Maxima. '89 SE 5-speed, '92 SE 5-speed, and the current '97 SE 5-speed. I really envy people like you that have the time and energy to do such nice mods to their cars. Mine is box stock except for a FSTB and leather interior. It also has 192,000 miles on it so isn't really worth putting a lot of work into. My significant other says that if it lasts two more years I can have a new one. Her '89 300ZX has fewer miles on it but is in need of replacing more than mine. One of my cooling fans has just started screeching so I guess I need to find a new one. It was just a matter of time before things started failing I suppose. I am happy I found this forum when I did.
