hey guys im new here and ive loved 240's ever since i saw them i just got a 240 today and i have big plans for it! now if i only knew how to post pics this would be a lot better but its a black 1990 with a 93 front end n its a 5 speed

no smaller pics sorry and yes its very clean ..got it for pretty cheap and its running just needs a tune up and some other small details and will be running smoothly, and just thought id let you guys know im only 16 so this build may progress slowly

NGK all the way. ... clean car, take care of it, im sure if u search around nico u will find more than enough info on how to do it yourself stuff n save u some money n learn about ur car at the same time...

it has minor rust and im gonna have my friend that works at a local body shop help grind it down and he'll be helping me paint it in the future

hey guys sorry for not updating ive been trying to get a job lately so this build can really kick start and i may be getting one on thursday so hopefully there will be some more progression but so far ive replaced to spark plugs with ngk's and also did the rotor and cap...bay is also much cleaner, pics on saturday

Hey thats cool your starting off with a nice clean car so for only being 16 you have a good start on a project just take care of her.
I got my first 240 when i was 14,thats been 6 years ago now and i still mess with them.

Defenitely enjoy it they are getting harder to come by in good condition everyday. Good luck with the build man

Looking for a sohc ka to swap because my sohc needs a lot of work and would be a lot easier to just swap it...anyone know where I could find one for around $800 or under? and what section should I post this in to gyet the most feedback?

Stock KA24DE's should cost anywhere from free to $300. Search searchtempest.com with "ka24de". I'd put up a WTB ad on craigslist too.

terribly sorry for not posting in forever guys.. been really busy with life, my job was seasonal work and now have no source of income and my baby has been sitting in my dads garage as it has a rod knock and am currently in the process of pulling my motor. my friends brother knows someone with a full dohc swap for around $500 so hopefully within the next few weeks she'll be up and running again. the only good thing about this whole situation is ive basically been DD my dads 93 300zx

Anyways Im new to the forum, so Im glad to c other people finding 240 love like i did lol...what're your plans?

i would love to completely rebuild my sohc and turbo it or at the most do an sr swap after i get out of school..but pretty much im going for a ratty drift build, suspension work, maybe a lip, some interior gutting, and hopefully some nicely fitted wheels but atm i need to focus on getting it running! lol

yea i hear you!!!! we are in the same boat there!!! Im hoping to successfully complete an RB swap this spring/summer so ive been saving and doing little TLC and prep work in the mean time. I do wanna get into the drift scene but i also wanna do some Top speed trials. So balance is gonna b pretty ideal. But like you im focusing on getting it runing atm

hey guys ..gonna be making some progress this weekend, we're picking up a ka24de full swap on saturday. we are hoping to get my sohc pulled and the bay painted saturday afternoon and possible dropping the dohc in on sunday. finally gonna be driving my baby again i will possibly try to post pics after we get the motor or just add me on facebook (andre busam) where its a lot easier to post pics straight from my ipod
