I apologize if there is already a thread floating around here somewhere for this, so mods please feel free to move/delete/merge into the overall sticky thread as you see fit.

I think that with the coming eligibility of the earliest R32 Skylines for importation under 25 year exemption, and subsequent years to follow (R33, R34), that it would be beneficial to have a sort of FAST database here on NICO for parts that are interchangeable between already available US spec Nissans (300ZXTT, J30, etc.) and Skylines of various trims. It would also help to post sources for aftermarket replacements to scarcely available OE parts, such as the recent topic of replacement glass.

I know Tyndago's blog http://www.gtrusablog.com/ has a few listed interchangeable parts, but I am suspecting that there are more. The idea is to create a consolidated source for readily available wear parts without having to resort to ordering from Japan and waiting a significant amount of time for a part that already exists in the US for a different model.

Hot damn. Look at that...just as I'm searching the internet for help with AC compressors on an R32 GTR...this thread pops up.

I'm dying for help here guys. Does the R32 RB26 AC compressor match another model that made it state side? Mine just took a dump and i cannot find a single example through craigslist or ebay.

I read somewhere that a 2001 quest one does, but I'm trying to find some solid proof. lol

Looks like a guy on local forum successfully mounted a 300zx AC compressor on his gts-t, didn't specify z31 or z32. But his fuse kept blowing, so someone else suggested bad AC clutch stater causing blown fuse. No updated post about AC since then.

As a BMW tech it's often cheaper/faster for me to just use what I have available. This is usually things like fuel/coolant hoses, clamps, etc, but I also ended up using an E46 3 series brake pedal locking pin (I assume most Nissan pins would fit as well), and in a pinch I had to use the fuel pump seal from an E9X 3 series (pretty sure, it was a spare in my toolbox). The BMW tool for removing the screw top on the fuel pumps also works. The seal is still there holding fine after 6+ months.

anyone know what a good cross-refernce part would be for the r32 gtst power steering belt? i know the oem nissan part number but google is of no help.

Do you have the old Nissan belt? If so, you can go down to a part store and have them match it up.

Anyone have a pn for the a/c belt idle pulley? How about an OEM aftermarket one?
