Hello. Got a 2002 Q45. my question is... I installed 4 hitachi oem sensors in total. 1 cam sensor 1 crank sesnor and 2 For IVT/VTC. All same part # Hitachi cps0001. After reading a old post by user Costee he mentioned that the VTC/ITC had its own 2 sensors & the cam/crank had their own 2 seperate senors. Are these sensors really different per se. Do I need to swap out the IVT/VTC sensor or will this sensor function correctly. The car is running ok no codes to report... any feedback would be great, thanks

:welcome: to NICO!

Honestly, I have no idea... If you can link to the old post, that would be helpful. If you're code free, the parts you put in are the same part numbers as you took out, and the car is performing normally, I'd probably leave well enough alone.

Do I need to swap out the 2 VTC sensors for the correct part? It appears to be very similar only difference is just the angle. Wil this function correctly? Original post I was referencing. To answer Heath the VTC sensors were not replaced with correct part number. They were replaced with cam/crank sensor part...all four are currently using same part sensor. I only just realized that the VTC called for a different part.
