ive got a sedan i picked up for dirt cheap a little over a year ago. its been sitting waiting for its turn in line behind my prelude build - http://www.preludepower.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2883447#post2883447 - i have just recently acquired the donor drivetrain for my datsun from this 240sx with a SR20DEThttp://forums.nicoclub.com/my-checkerboard-240-the-a-drivetrain-4-the-datsun-t548855.html i plan on ultimately having the prelude for a comuter, and the datsun as my baby... it want it done RIGHT... ive been down the road of a car restore in the past. i know it wasnt easy, but it was definetly rewarding. i have the help of a few friends of mine that comprise "team internal combustion" - http://www.myspace.com/internal_combustion07, and https://www.facebook.com/InternalCombustion i look forward to this journey, however am struggling through the trials of working full time, supporting a family, and living 1.5hrs away from work. i know that times are hard for everybody, and for that i thank God for my job, and the support ive recieved. i havnt done much of anything to the car as of yet, i have cut the springs (1.5 coils) in the front, and put some old school "mags" on it that i picked up for cheap. id like to start on the SR20 swap sooner than later, but im also trying not to get side tracked from my existing prelude project or ill never get done! lol.. knowledgable input is greatly appreciated.
