Well it took 25 days but my car is back from the body shop now and looks to be in pretty good shape. I drove it the 76 miles home from where the accident happened and it drove fine, went straight, and braked straight. There are a couple of little things I need them to touch up / fix but I'm very happy that my G is back. I missed it a lot

I had them put the sport bumper on the front so it would be a little bit unique for an X. Zozoka, you were correct, it was a pain for the body shop to get the Adaptive Cruise Control sensor mounted in the sport bumper.

One little tip I can give you if it ever happens. My auto up on the windows didn't work when I got it back. Turns out if the battery is unhooked for a while they 'unsync'. Had to lower the windows one at a time and hold the button down an extra 3 seconds, then raise the windows and hold the button an extra 3 seconds. That made the auto up feature work again - apparently that can happen to the sunroof too but mine was still working.

I ordered some parts for the car because I felt bad for hurting it. I have the Stillen Gen 3 Intake and Stillen grounding kit coming in this week. As well as the front bumper lip. I'll post some more pics when they are installed. Might not get installed till next week because of the 4th coming up.

Car looks good spacy... The windows is a simple timing issue, thats all. Get the 18" rims too! I like them a lot. And you can sell me those you have.... Dont forget an exhaust soon!!! I'm waiting for someone to just bypass the center muffler unit with straight pipes running to the rear mufflers... curious to see what that would sound like.

Which 18's are you talking about - the OEM ones? I am looking to get some new rims as soon as I'm due for tires - which will be soon. I was thinking the 10 spoke G37 wheels would look good...

I do want an aftermarket exhaust, but I really want to hear one in person and sit in the cabin if I can. I drive a lot to meetings and don't want it to get annoying to me - just to everyone I blow by

Not yet. I have the "before" pics. I only have one "after" pic that I took with my phone. It's rained almost every day since I got the car back and the one day it didn't the car was covered in pollen dust and the car wash was closed on the way home.

I might start a "before and after" thread for people to post pics after accidents when I get some pictures.

The tint on the side windows and rear is 30%, it was the darkest I could go in Colorado. The law states that the tint must let in more than 27% of the light. I would have liked it just a bit darker, but I think I can live with it

Yeah, here in CT legal is 35% but, that's never dark enough and we usually go with 20% and take our chances. So far so good, never had to pull it off. - now that I've probably jinxed myself....

Seems our guy only does 20, 35, or limo.

35% is legal here in Memphis. Most cops don't bother enforcing tint laws unless you have pissed them off regarding something else (reckless driving, speeding in school zone, etc). Insult to injury kind of thing.

With that being said, I have 15% on my truck. Daddy likey.
