My step father spoke to the guy selling it. He's 16 and is "fed up" with how much parts cost and how hard the car is to handle. He was about to trade it in on a 98 civic.


"I was going down to trade my car and it stopped. I am pissed at the car , I just want it gone so I can buy another car that I can drive reliably.

On the way down to moncton it started going in the red and stalled a couple times. after a while it was starting to have no power and sound wierd. It stalled and we were unable to start it again. there was no more oil , no more coolant. no clue what happened. there is also a hole on top of the oil pan.
everything is full of oil.

The interior is in really good shape , body too.
the only thing is that it has a cracked side skirt.

also the car comes with a couple HKS electronics.

I paid 6000 for this and now it does not work and the parts are too hard to find for me.

The car has 17" mags with winter tires on it , stock gtr wing , can inlcude a carbon fiber big wing for 200$ more.

the trunk of the car is full of spare parts , I was giving them with the car so you can have it.

Car was towed last night and cost my dad 250$ of towing. It is now at a garage in town. will need to be towed from there.

I'm thinking of low balling him at 1000$ and putting the car in the shop and getting it on the road, then I'll be able to see if I want a skyline or not

I don't want to waste 1500$ on something that isn't worth it. The body and such is fine it's something wrong with the motor.

ok.... even if the motor is completely shot, parts alone are worth a hell of a lot more than 1500

Engine is likely blown, although there's no way to get "a hole in the top of the oil pan". Uhhh, there's is no "top".

I'm betting it's a scam. Let us know.

He's 16 and has zero idea what hes talking about. Honestly this might be him letting the oil and coolant out of his car so mommy and daddy will buy him a new one.

hahahaha. idiots. i wish my parents bought me cars. all 4 240's ive bought myself. i would definitely love a skyline though

So get this. The kid is 16 years old, got his parents to buy the car cause he saw one on TV and it was fast. He painted it "Mustang" red, put a big wing on the back, lowered it on a no name ebay set up, he has 7'' tires in the REAR and 8'' in the FRONT for "proper tire rotaton and wear". HE WAS UNSURE IF THE CAR HAD A TURBO OR NOT. I'm going to look at the car in person in two weeks and if it's fixable I'm going to buy it. If I can find a motor before I go see it I'm going to buy it regardless.

This poor skyline has been butchered.

He traded the skyline and 5000$ for a rsx. I got an email this morning telling me that unless I can top that offer (skyline + 5grand = 2004 RSX) he's selling it noon today. Is there somewhere I can report the inhumane treatment of imports? I'll never get a skyline at this rate

Wow.I dont know who's the bigger idiot here. Him for not knowing anything or you for not jumping on it. I mean seriously, you could have bought, turned around posted it without even touching the car and easily doubled your money

I tried to jump on it. It sold in 3 hours. He ended up trading it for a RSX

I give it one month, check the papers.

FOR SALE Acura RS-X. Loud improperly installed muffler, boost gauge even though it's not turbo, shift light tach even though it's automatic, 18 square feet of vinyl graphics, 3 foot tall GT wing mounted crooked (holes from first attempt covered with electrical tape), 60 pound fiberglass body kit mysteriously curb-checked on all sides, engine runs but makes a BANG BANG BANG noise that increases in speed and volume as you rev it to show your friends the shift light. Must sell in two hours as my parents want to buy me a Lancer.
