I looked at it, but ultimately decided against for a couple or three reasons:

1) Called 3 local dealers, and installation parts+labor seemed to be running around $550+/-, which seemed very high for 2 small strips of leds connected to a switch

2) Local dealer had another car with interior lights installed, and it wasnt as cool as it looked in the photo. This might have been my mis-expectations, but i was expecting a warmer, deeper, glow -- and that definitely wasnt there.

3) And of the 20 or whatever different colors on the dial -- there didnt seem to be one that matched the nissan red/orange button light color.

I donno, it was mostly about the price. But the other two things didnt compel me to eat the cost

Hope this helps

go to a custom shop, and they will install a few LED's tied into the car for $100-$200 depending how many/where you want them.

I looked at an installation PDF from leeparts.com that was selling these LED lights and installation is quite involved, so I was expecting dealer to charge a lot for it. So looks like $350 is just installation only. Not worth ponying up $550 till I see one of these in a Rogue to know what I am getting.

Thanks for your thoughts, that helps.

Try LizardLEDs. They have kits and individual strips you can install yourself. They come with an adhesive backing and you can hard wire them to your battery pretty easily if you want. Pretty sure they have the multi-colored ones but I know they have white, red, blue, and green single color ones.
