Ok so I put an intake on my 90 240sx but there's no spot for the intake air temperature sensor. There's a way to bypass it right? I've heard it's 4.7k ohm resistor and you just jam it in the from ecu connector then right?

I'd just leave it unplugged but it advanced my timing a little bit farther than I expected with it not plugged in. Thanks in advance.

Or should I just plug it in and zip tie it to the side of the intake pipe?

My intake plate still has the hose connector to that emissions box so I was thinking about mounting in there as another option but I thought bypassing would be a little easier.

You really should drill / install it into the intake tube. It will run fine off to the side but you would get a more precise reading of the temp your engine is getting if its installed in the tube, and not effected by under hood, engine heat factors.
