Yes pictures please. Lord knows just trying to put the key in the ignition in the pitch black dark gets frustrating enough

It depend. do you want to have it on all the time, only when the car is on or only when you turn on the headlights?

take the plastic cover off around the steering column. there is a black plug with wires are on the left side of the of the steering column right under the turn signal switch. you need to crimp the blue with red stripe wire. and for your ground wire there is a white plug under your windshield wiper switch. you need to crimp the black wire that is under the purple wire.
