The following chart displays the maximum obtainable CRANKSHAFT horsepower vs. injector flow rate at 100% duty cycle, assuming a BSFC of .55 lbs./hp/hr. For Wankel and 2 stroke engines, multiply max hp in table by 0.9 to compensate for the higher BSFC of these engines. Injectors should be sized for 75-85% maximum duty cycle on engines used in constant high power applications such as race cars, aircraft and boats.

I believe :Toyota Celica GT (5sfe engine) has similar 315cc high impedance injectors as the Toyota 3s-ge - might be easier to find :P

According to that chart a set of 615cc should max at ~ 429 crank hp...??? Then that would mean ~ 356 whp...

Why does that not sound right..??

A general rule I use, take the number of cc's subtract 100 and thats the WHP you'll net.

so 615cc - 100 = 515 whp..??

Still sounds off to me. All other calculations state ~400-425 whp. Im not doubting u in any way but 515 sounds a bit high but would be SWEET if that was the case..

well doesn't it also depend on the num ber of cylynders my friend with his turbo mustnag only uses 24lb injectors which are smaller than stock ka injectors how ever he has twice as many of them so they therefore provide enough fuel.

Someone on ka-t.org posted a link to a OEM injector reference guide. They are listed by part numbers and has a picture of each, plus flow rate and impedence.

Mazda FD Side feed 550cc High 93-98 are the injectors you'll want. Yes they drop into the rail but I don't think the clips match up. I haven't used any so I can't say for certain, I switched to top feed right off.

Ok, here's one for ya. How much work would be involved in making standard ford/gm style delphi injectors fit a KADE intake manifold?

No, theyre injectors that MIGHT fit based on top/side feed or hi/lo impedence. Some of them drop in, some need clips or O rings...

To make ANY of the top mount injectors fit a KA24DE you'll need a new top mount fuel rail. Project Silvia sells them for like $30. http://www.projectnissan.com/s...=3701

I think they are drop in replacements, but there may be a year or two that doesn't match. I just can't remember...
