So im a good way through my twin turbo swap. ive spent a good amount of time running around this site and a few others looking for some info. Most of the parts between the swap seems to be the same. I bought a TT engine and transmission with ecu and harness from jdm engine depot in jersey.
While i had the engine at my house i did the plentum coolant bypass and deleted the egr system. I ordered some intercooler pipes (&inlets/outlets/accordions), down pipes, an intercooler, an oil cooler, spark plugs, a fuel pump, and a radiator/fan.
Every tt swap i find on here is people who buy whole front clips which i wasnt fortunate enough to do :[
everythings in, and the only clips which arent being used are the 2 boost solenoid clips and a 4prong by the battery which i assumed was cruise control (which im not using).
Its cranking and cranking but it just wont turn over. Its getting fuel, and its getting spark. A friend of mine told me that the power transistors up front are notorious for going bad after sitting for a long time, is this true? My 300 hasnt ran in about 3 months give or take.
If not, wheres a good spot to start looking for problems?
Im grabbing a multimeter tomorrow to make sure the injectors and all the sensors are getting power. But what are some common problems that i should trouble shoot?

the ptu if old style can easily go bad.Nissan recalled that one and then put out the new styled one. If its off a jdm engine its probably the old style and could very well possibly be bad. Is yours the one on the left or the right? Left is old right is new style. You can just swap your old one off the n.a engine since they are the same. Image
Another thing which i have don and is probably pretty common so the coil pack plugs and the o2 sensor plugs are the same thing so be careful to plug them into the proper places.

steven, did you compression-test the engine before you bought it?
i went there to look at a few engines, and when i compression-tested them, they were all junk.

i did not compression test the engine. i have had plenty of friends all get good engines from there, i guess i still shouldve tested it.
and i have the old style transistor.
