Yep. Dennis (aka Q45Tech) was a guy who bought his 1990 Q new. He actually saw the cars being produced in Japan while there on a business trip. Drove it for about 100K with minimal maintenance, and then realized that it didn't drive the way it used to. Being an engineer by trade, he started researching car maintenance and the Q in particular, and started a rehab process. He was an absolute stickler about annual fluid changes - all the way down to refrigerant oil in the a/c compressor. He even claimed to replace all of the light bulbs in the car (including the little ones in the instrument cluster) on a regular schedule as preventative maintenance. He became friends with the owner of T3 automotive in ATL, and was sort of the unofficial "shop guru" for all things Q. Members here would drive 1000+ miles to have chain guides and other maintenance done there - so he was a great internet marketing tool for T3. He was a frequent poster here until a few years ago, when he dropped out of the scene. The last I heard he had become bored with the Q, or at least talking about it here, and was trying to turbo a late 1990s G20.
If you really want to learn about the Q, set aside a month and user name search "Q45Tech" and just start reading...
